The Goals of the Program


  • Expose high school students to health professions by providing foundational knowledge about health careers;
  • Promote the concept of the health care team as essential to patent well-being;
  • Provide students with a strong foundation in science, communication, and knowledge of the health care system;
  • Provide college credit(s) by examination to students who qualify;
  • Enhance quality "high school to college articulation"; and
  • Assist in the long-range creation of a diverse health care work force.
