Transcripts


Official transcripts are issued by the Office of the Registrar, Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, 249 University Avenue, Newark, NJ 07102. Requests may be made in person by completing the proper form or in writing if the following information is provided: student's name, address, nine-digit student number; division of Rutgers attended with dates of attendance; and complete name and address of transcript recipient.

The request must be received at least 10 working days prior to the date the transcript is needed. There is no longer a fee for official transcripts. Unofficial transcripts, for a student's personal records, are available free of charge through RTTRS. In accordance with university procedures, no student or former student may obtain a transcript of his or her academic record if he or she has any outstanding obligations to the university.
