Master of communication and media (M.C.M.) students select one of the seven areas of specialization. Each specialization has some recommended electives, and students can select other electives to fulfill the M.C.M. 36-credit requirement to tailor their M.C.M. degree to areas of interest.
In
addition to the electives made available through specializations, students can
request to apply up to 6 credits of coursework from outside the School of
Communication and Information as noted above. Students may wish to supplement
the M.C.M. program with courses in business, social sciences, or other
professional schools.
