The doctor of medicine (M.D.)/master of business administration (M.B.A.) dual-degree program in New Brunswick, which is a collaborative effort with Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in New Brunswick, is designed to provide medical students with the knowledge and skills necessary for positions in the health care industry that require expertise in both the medical and economic aspects of health care. Students earn both the M.D. degree and the M.B.A. degree during the course of a five-year medical school program. As a dual degree program, students fulfill all academic requirements for each degree.
