Rutgers Business School (RBS) faculty understands that students are eager to launch their careers and that employers seek students possessing business, science, and technology credentials. Undergraduate science and engineering majors at Rutgers can pursue an accelerated graduate degree in business through the new science master of business administration (M.B.A.).

This exclusive program invites the best science students to begin graduate-level work during their senior year en route to completing both their undergraduate and graduate degrees in as little as five-and-a-half to six years. RBS introduced the accelerated program in Fall 2008, which was created for students with majors ranging from environmental science and life sciences to engineering and premed students. Undergraduate science students can apply in their junior year and receive dedicated academic advisement upon acceptance. Candidates pursue an undergraduate science track during their first three years, and begin taking courses toward an M.B.A. in their fourth year, with a required internship providing work experience. Just as significant, the degree program exposes students to a host of professional opportunities in business and science. Through the growing number of RBS corporate partnerships, students benefit from multiple experiential learning opportunities provided by RBS as well as gaining access to a network of more than 29,000 alumni.
