Students
enrolling in an undergraduate degree program within University College-Newark who can document that they previously have been awarded a baccalaureate degree from a regionally
accredited institution of higher education are exempt from all Core Curriculum requirements, as listed in the catalog.
Such students, however, are required to:

complete all of the requirements as outlined under the major programs;

complete a minimum of one writing-intensive course within their major; and
-
adhere to the university's
residency policy.
