Student Life and
Facilities
Numerous academic and social opportunities are available to
students in the Honors College, and Esterly Lounge in Engelhard Hall
provides a central gathering place for honors students throughout their time at
Rutgers.
Student-led activities and programs are presented and
regularly organized by the Honors Student Council and its subcommittees.
Study Abroad
As part of our commitment to experiential learning, we
encourage all students to spend time abroad. This has never been easier because
Rutgers University has its own extensive and highly regarded study abroad
programs, some of which offer multi-week opportunities that may be more
practical for some students than the traditional semester-long experiences of
the past.
The Honors College staff works closely with its students, the Office of Student Affairs, and the Study Abroad Office to help students
take advantage of what is for many a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. Our
students can count on receiving help with picking an appropriate program,
applying, finding and securing financial aid, and always having someone you can
easily reach at the university.
