The minor in Portuguese and Lusophone world studies is interdisciplinary. It consists of 18 credits in Portuguese language
and Lusophone world
literature and culture.
The minor requires the completion of 15 core credits:
1.) 6 credits in language:
21:812:131,132 Intermediate Portuguese
or the equivalent
2.) 6 credits in literature or culture classes at the 300 or 400 level conducted in Portuguese. Classes which satisfy these credits are:
812:315, 812:342, 812:343, 812:348, 812:349, 812:423, 812:440, 812:441
3.) The remaining 6 credits may be satisfied by choosing electives offered within the Portuguese program at the 200 level or above, conducted in English or Portuguese.
