Declaration of a Major

To declare or change a major, students must complete a form, which is available in the academic department that offers that major and online through the Office of Academic Services. Students may declare a major after they have earned 24 credits, satisfied the basic writing skills and the quantitative reasoning requirements, and earned a minimum cumulative grade-point average of 2.0. All students must declare a major once they have completed 60 credits.
