Minors must complete a total of 24 credits (typically 8 courses) with a grade of C or better to qualify for the minor in sociology. Minors must complete at least one course in social theory, either Classical Social Theory (Sociology 409) or Contemporary Social Theory (Sociology 415). Among the remaining 21 credits at least 18 credits (typically 6 courses) must be in sociology. Three credits (typically one course) may be taken in anthropology, criminal justice, or social work.
