Students must apply for a student teaching assignment by October 1 for the spring semester and February 15 for the fall semester. Students must take the National Teacher Examination (NTE) Praxis II examination in their teaching field one semester prior to student teaching, and a health and physiology examination or college-level course in biological sciences.
