It is the general policy of the university not to cancel classes
because of inclement weather. However, there are instances where
especially adverse and hazardous weather conditions make it impossible
to travel and to conduct academic activities at the campus. On those
infrequent occasions, appropriate announcements are made over the
following local radio stations: WABC, WCBS, WMCA, WOR, WMTR, WDHA,
WERA, WBGO, and WCTC. Arrangements for makeup work are announced by
individual instructors.
