Minor Programs

Minor programs are not required for graduation. In general, a minor consists of 18 to 21 credits of course work in a discipline, but more specific requirements may be imposed by the department or program area. Half the requirements for a minor program must be completed at the college. Students must consult the relevant chairperson or program director for full details, as well as file a declaration of intent to complete a minor in the academic department offering the minor.

The following minors are offered to students at Newark College of Arts and Sciences. Requirements for each minor are described in the Academic Programs and Courses chapter of this catalog.
