Professor Weisbord received a B.S. from the Wharton School of
Business, University of Pennsylvania, and a J.D. cum laude, from the
University of Pennsylvania Law School. He served as comment editor of the
University of Pennsylvania Journal of Constitutional Law.Before joining the Rutgers faculty in 2010, Professor Weisbord served as law
clerk to the Hon. Jane R. Roth, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. He
previously clerked for the Hon. Norma L. Shapiro, U.S. District Court, Eastern
District of Pennsylvania, and practiced in the litigation department of Dechert
LLP in Philadelphia.
Professor Weisbord's research and teaching interests include nonprofit law,
donative transfers, tax policy, and trusts and estates. His published work has
been cited in the Restatement (Third) of Trusts and the American Law
Institute's Principles of the Law of Nonprofit Organizations.
