Head of digital services
Wei Fang received his master's degree in library and information
science from Rutgers, where he specialized in digital libraries and
information retrieval theory. While studying for his master's degree, Fang was awarded a grant to design and build a high-resolution
scanner useful for digitizing books and microform images. Fang also
holds a B.S. degree from Kean University where he majored in computer
science and minored in mathematics. Prior to joining the law library, Fang worked as a programmer for the Rutgers Center for Molecular and
Behavioral Science. Fang's research interests include digital library,
digital preservation, information retrieval, interface design, and
semantic web.
