In order to assure optimum planning toward fulfilling major and degree requirements, it is strongly recommended that students contemplating studying abroad consult with both an academic advisor and a study abroad adviser at least 9 months in advance of their planned semester-based program or one semester in advance of short-term summer or winter programs.
