Scholastic Honors

Students who achieve a GPA of 3.70 or higher in their coursework for the labor studies major will earn departmental honors. Students who achieve the following final grade-point averages across their overall program of study at Rutgers will earn scholastic honors as follows: cum laude with a grade-point average of 3.500 or better; magna cum laude with an average of 3.700 or better; and summa cum laude with an average of 3.850 or better.
