All applicants to the Mason Gross School of the Arts must submit a
formal application and fee through Rutgers University. In addition to the
university application and application fee, all students applying to the visual
arts department at Mason Gross School of the Arts must complete the Mason Gross
supplemental application and submit a portfolio online. Shortly after submitting the university
application, applicants will receive an email invitation to complete the Mason
Gross School of the Arts supplemental application where they will be asked
specific questions about their intended major and receive instructions on how
to submit their portfolio online. A
nonrefundable portfolio submission fee (in addition to the university's
standard application fee) is also required of all visual arts applicants at the
time of their portfolio submission. Visual
arts applicants are expected to submit a portfolio online. Hard copies of work
or work submitted on a CD will not be reviewed and cannot be returned. For more
