Digital Filmmaking

All applicants to the Mason Gross School of the Arts must submit a formal application and fee through Rutgers University. In addition to the university application and application fee, all students applying to the digital filmmaking degree program at Mason Gross School of the Arts must complete the Mason Gross supplemental application along with writing samples and a digital narrative sample of their work online. Shortly after submitting the university application, applicants will receive an email invitation to complete the Mason Gross supplemental application where they will be asked specific questions about their intended major. Upon completion of the supplemental application, the Mason Gross admissions office and digital filmmaking program will email the students instructions on how to submit their digital narrative sample online. A nonrefundable talent evaluation fee (in addition to the university's standard application fee) is also required of all digital filmmaking applicants at the time of their digital narrative submission. Digital filmmaking applicants are expected to submit all digital narrative samples online. Hard copies of work or work submitted on a CD will not be reviewed and cannot be returned. For more information about digital filmmaking requirements, artistic review fee payment, and submission instructions please visit: http://www.masongross.rutgers.edu/admissions/auditions-and-portfolio-reviews/digital-filmmaking-requirements.
