The department offers a variety of courses for the nonmajor. In general, 07:700:101 and/or 103 provide the prerequisites for most other nonmajor courses in music. Several nonmajor courses are offered online (700:131, 133, 135, 231, 232, 233, 234). Some ensembles and other performance courses also are open to nonmajors.
