No more than one semester's worth of credit, up to 16 credits, may be awarded for field experience (i.e., internships), except when additional field experience is a required part of a professional accrediting program or an education/internship program is involved. The school's Admissions and Scholastic Standing Committee reviews special program needs in individual cases. Internships that are not sponsored by an academic department do not receive academic credit.
