The student's scholastic standing is determined by his or her
cumulative grade-point average and professional grade-point average.
These averages may be calculated as an overall average or a semester average. See the University Policies and Procedures section for
information on the computation of the cumulative grade-point average
and other grading regulations.
The cumulative grade-point
average includes all courses completed at Rutgers used to satisfy the
degree requirements in the pharmacy program. The professional
grade-point average includes all courses completed at Rutgers with the
subject codes 158, and 715 through 725.
When students earn a
grade of D or F in a course, the course, with permission, may be
repeated; however, both grades will be included in the student's
averages and both remain on the student's transcript. Grades received
at another institution are not included in either the cumulative or the
professional grade-point averages. If a student is authorized to repeat
a course at another institution, the grade and credits originally
earned in the course at Rutgers remain part of the student's
transcript.
