Completion of a Major and a Minor

Students must complete an approved major and an approved minor listed in the Programs of Study chapter in this section. The requirement for a minor may be waived for students completing extraordinarily credit-intensive majors. (Students in credit intensive majors are strongly encouraged to complete a minor, even though they are not required to do so.) All students are responsible for consulting with the undergraduate director in the department of their major and of their minor to ensure that they will have fulfilled all requirements by the time of graduation.
