Students in any School of Communication and Information undergraduate program may take courses in the school's graduate programs with permission of the faculty teaching the course, and in keeping with the requirements of the students' undergraduate schools. Although approved graduate courses count toward credits for graduation, in general they may not count toward fulfilling major requirements. Students should check with their department to determine which, if any, courses satisfy major requirements.
