The Mabel Smith Douglass Honors Program provides outstanding
Douglass College seniors with the opportunity to do independent
research that leads to an interdepartmental thesis or a thesis in the
student's major field. The research project replaces two academic
courses in each term of the senior year. Students must complete both
terms in order to receive degree credit. Students with a grade-point
average of 3.4 in their major and a cumulative grade-point average of
3.4 overall are eligible to apply to the program during the second term
of their junior year.
