The Institute for Advanced
Materials, Devices, and Nanotechnology (IAMDN) serves as a focal point for
cutting-edge interdisciplinary research into materials-based science and
engineering at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey. Its goals are to enable world-class research; channel
cross-disciplinary breakthroughs in science and technology into economic impact
in emerging technologies; foster ties between academic, industrial, and
governmental labs; provide training for the next generation of
materials-based, Ph.D.-level scientists and engineers; and provide the
leading-edge facilities and apparatuses to accomplish these goals.
