Stage Management Program Notes

*Credits assigned for Stage Management Project (08:966:654) and Performance Project Theater Arts (08:966:703) are determined by the head of program based on the size and scope of the assignment and project. The minimum number of credits assigned for a Rutgers Theater Company project is 3 credits.

**M.F.A. candidates are required to take two semesters of theater history: Theater History I/II (08:966:501/502) or Advanced Theater History (08:966:695/696). Placement will be determined by head of program and head of core curriculum based on the candidate's undergraduate theater history experience.

Minimum credits required for graduation is 72.

This is the recommend sequence for M.F.A. stage managers. The head of program may make recommendations for changes or waive courses where appropriate in individual cases.
