M.F.A. Playwriting Program Requirements


Minimum credits required for graduation is 72. Playwrights should take 14-16 credits each semester to complete the program in 2.5 years.
  • Please note: 14 credits per semester will only bring the credit total to 70 in 2.5 years. One or more semesters must be 15 or 16 credits.
  • M.F.A. candidates can take a maximum of 22 credits per semester.
