The
bachelor of arts/master of applied psychology (B.A./M.A.P.) program allows undergraduate students to take a minimum of 6
graduate credits during their senior year of undergraduate studies.
Students interested in pursuing an advanced career in psychology or
obtaining a doctorate in psychology in the future can apply to the
program during their junior year, and can obtain their bachelor's and master's degrees in five years total.
The B.A./M.A.P. program will allow
students to
-
accelerate their training through advanced standing;
-
receive graduate-level training with options for specialization in
certificate programs such as Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC)
and eligibility to pursue the licensure level known as the Licensed
Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC) and Applied Behavior Analysis (BACB);

receive curricular instruction, practicum, and applied research
experience needed to be prepared for competitive admission criteria for
doctoral level studies; and

reduce the cost of their graduate
education.
