Jeffrey D. Shahidullah


Ph.D., Michigan State University

Jeffrey D. Shahidullah is assistant professor of school psychology. He also holds an adjunct appointment as assistant professor of pediatrics at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. Dr. Shahidullah earned a B.A. in psychology from Baylor University (Waco, TX) and a Ph.D. in school psychology at Michigan State University (East Lansing, MI). He completed a predoctoral internship at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) and a postdoctoral fellowship at Geisinger Medical Center (Danville, PA), both in pediatric psychology. While at CHOP, he was a Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental Disabilities (LEND) fellow. Dr. Shahidullah's clinical, research, and training interests pertain to the development and delivery of models of integrated behavioral health care that is evidence-based and coordinated among the numerous systems in which children and adolescents interact: the home, school, community, and health care system. He is also interested in models of interdisciplinary training and collaboration among health care providers. Dr. Shahidullah's research has been funded by the Blue Cross Blue Shield Foundation, Society for the Study of School Psychology, American Psychological Association, and the Collaborative Family Healthcare Association, among others. This research has been presented nationally and internationally and published in peer-reviewed journals. He is coauthor of the book, Counseling Students in Levels 2 and 3: A PBIS/RTI Guide.
