Practicum
The community psychology practicum is required for one semester, one day per
week. It is subject to approval of the community psychology concentration practicum subcommittee based on a brief student
proposal of community relevance of the practicum.

2. Core courses currently required for all Graduate School of Applied and Professional Psychology students
that have a community focus:

3. Choice of one of the following:

from another Rutgers unit such as Public
Health or Ph.D. in Psychology (e.g., Strength-Based Consultation to
Religious, Public Education, and Private Education Settings: A Community
Psychology Approach) approved by community psychology concentration faculty
Encouraged
A community psychology dissertation approved by the community psychology concentration subcommittee based on a brief student proposal of community relevance. Committee
must include one of the listed community psychology faculty.
