If the course title is followed by an (R), i.e., General Chemistry (R), the course may be repeated under the course repetition procedure described in the Academic Policies and Procedures chapter.

A course title followed by a (W) is writing intensive.

A course followed by a (G) fulfills the global requirement.

A course followed by a (D) fulfills the diversity requirement.

Credits awarded for the successful completion of each course are indicated in parentheses following the course title. The notation (BA) indicates that the number of credits is determined by arrangement with the department offering the course.
