Malpractice insurance information is mailed to students along with the notification of acceptance into the nursing program. This is a suggested carrier; however, the student may purchase insurance with any company. The amount should be $1,000,000/3,000,000. It is mandatory for every student to purchase this insurance prior to clinical laboratory. Verification (photocopy of front page) must be received by the Department of Nursing by July 30 every year the student is in clinical courses.
