The School Nurse Certification Program is dedicated
to producing knowledgeable, caring, and confident school nurses who will
become
leaders in the field. Students will be challenged to participate in
intellectually rigorous activities as well as extensive experiential
learning.
The School Nurse Certification Program is taught
in a cohort group format. The
cohort group format facilitates collegiality and fellowship, which
promotes
intellectual curiosity and exchange of diverse viewpoints. Each
applicant must
complete all general education courses, foundation courses, and core courses
before being eligible to receive the School Nurse Certificate.
The program is fully approved by the New Jersey
Board of
Education
