The program accepts a limited number of students on a nonmatriculated basis.
Applicants to nonmatriculated status must meet the following requirements:

Complete a baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university.
- Submit
official transcripts showing all coursework from undergraduate and
graduate schools.
- Complete
an undergraduate course in statistics and another in research methods.
This requirement can be fulfilled after admission. Prior coursework in
criminal justice is recommended.
- Submit three letters of recommendation. Academic recommendations are preferred.
- Submit a statement of purpose.
Nonmatriculated students are limited to two courses per semester and to a total 12 credits. Advancement to degree status requires approval of the graduate program director and the associate dean of the graduate school and a minimum grade of B in each course.
