Change of Registration

After a student completes registration, he or she may add or drop courses during the late registration period preceding the semester and continuing through the first 10 class days of the semester. Thereafter, only drops are accepted.

These changes may be made online at http://webreg.rutgers.edu. Refunds are not granted for courses dropped after the second week. With the beginning of the third week, and for the remainder of the semester, a W grade is assigned.

A student who stops attending a course without dropping the course or withdrawing from the course, receives a failing grade in that course. The date which the student drops the course via webreg governs the academic and financial consequences of the drop.

No course may be dropped during the last two weeks of classes.
