Clinical placements for graduate students are arranged collaboratively
with the student, the professor responsible for the course, and a
preceptor. The terms of the placement are finalized in a letter of
agreement filed with the agency and in the Office for Student Affairs.
Preceptors serve as role models and guide the clinical experience. The
professor maintains contact with the preceptor, provides overall
supervision, and assigns the final grade.
