Registration and Course Information

Official admission to one of the colleges or schools precedes registration for courses.

The registration process consists of three steps:

1. The selection of courses with the assistance of an adviser

2. The submission of registration materials

3. The payment of tuition and fees for the approved program

The registration process is completed only after full tuition and fees are paid in accordance with billing instructions.

Registration dates for each semester are announced in advance by the Office of the Registrar on the registrar's website: http://registrar.rutgers.edu/NW. New students receive instructions for registration by mail from the director of admissions or the appropriate Office of the Dean before they enter college. Continuing students receive instructions by mail from the registrar. Students seeking reentry must obtain the necessary information, in person, at the appropriate dean's office, 30 days prior to the beginning of the semester.
