The Rutgers Center for Historical Analysis (RCHA) is a multidisciplinary research center and an affiliate of the history department at Rutgers University-New Brunswick. It provides a setting to discuss issues of broad contemporary relevance in historical perspective. Organizing its annual activities around major themes of inquiry or research projects, the center each year welcomes visiting senior and postdoctoral fellows chosen through an open, international competition, along with several faculty and graduate fellows from Rutgers. In addition to weekly seminars, the RCHA hosts a variety of public conferences and related cultural events, sponsors the Institute for High School Teachers, and houses the Journal of the History of Ideas.
