Robert Kopp, Director

The Institute of Earth, Ocean, and Atmospheric Sciences (IEOAS) is an interdisciplinary community that fosters research, education, and outreach pertaining to the earth's interior, continents, oceans, atmosphere, and biosphere. Faculty of the IEOAS are drawn from a spectrum of departments and schools throughout the university. The IEOAS joins graduate programs in many disciplines under the common umbrella of collaborative research and education. It also fosters research collaborations that share the common goal of understanding interactions between the various components of the earth system and the history and future of these interactions.
