Neil Wise


Career Counselor for the Office of Career Planning and Professional Development. Mr. Wise joined the Office of Career Planning following a 31-year career as an environmental engineer, attorney, and manager at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency in Philadelphia. He served as director of the Office of Remediation Enforcement, managing a staff of 42 attorneys involved with hazardous waste enforcement for the EPA's mid-Atlantic region. In 2004, he became a senior associate with the Rutgers Center for Management and Entrepreneurship (now the Institute for Management and Executive Development). He was the 2009 recipient of the Honorable Joseph M. Nardi Jr. Distinguished Service Award from the Rutgers–Camden Law Alumni Association. Mr. Wise sits on the board of directors for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Camden and Gloucester Counties and is a founding member and past president of the Delaware Valley Environmental Inn of Court. He has a B.S. from the U.S. Coast Guard Academy and a J.D. with honors from Rutgers School of Law–Camden, where he has been an adjunct professor since 1995.
