Continuing Education and Professional Development

The Rutgers School of Social Work's Institute for Families delivers courses for professional development and lifelong learning for social workers and other human service professionals through its Continuing Education Program.

Workshops are offered at the post baccalaureate and postmaster's levels. Learning activities are designed to help licensed and certified social workers in the state meet the continuing educational requirements for licensing and certification. All workshops, certificate programs, and trainings are approved by the New Jersey Board of Social Work Examiners.
