PHEL 0580 Independent Study in Research Methods (1-3) Prerequisites: By permission and arrangement. Students must submit a signed Contract for Independent Study form.
PHEL 0698 Special Topic (1-3) Prerequisites: By permission and arrangement. Completion of M.P.H. core courses.
PHEL 0762 Controversies and Debate on Current Issues in Public Health (3) This course familiarizes students with controversial issues in the current public health scientific literature and gives them experience in formulating opinions on controversial issues through making oral presentations before peers and in leading discussions among peers. Prerequisite: Doctoral student standing.
