Undergraduate Enrollment in Graduate Courses


Applicants for the Accelerated MPA Degree program need to meet the following eligibility requirements: Must be a matriculating undergraduate student at a school at Rutgers University-Newark (School of Public Affairs and Administration, School of Arts and Sciences-Newark, School of Criminal Justice, Rutgers Business School-Newark); Must have a cumulative GPA of a 3.200; Must have completed 90 75 credits; Must have completed all core curriculum requirements; Must have been advised by the Assistant Dean of Undergraduate Programs at Rutgers SPAA; Must have completed an Accelerated MPA degree program application (See also B.A./B.S./M.P.A. degree section.).

Transferring Graduate Credits from an Undergraduate Degree

If a student received credits for graduate courses as part of an undergraduate degree, these credits will not be transferred into the M.P.A. program unless the student is in our five-year B.A./M.P.A. program.
