Student Responsibility to Keep Informed

This online catalog provides a summary of the rules governing academic work at the School of Public Affairs and Administration (SPAA). Students are expected to refer to the online catalog and to familiarize themselves with the principal rules and regulations contained in it. All academic and other regulations established by the faculty and the administration of SPAA and the Board of Governors of the university are subject to amendment at any time. Any significant changes made after the publication of this catalog will be circulated to registered students through the school's website and graduate program offices.

In general, students should address their questions to their academic program directors. Questions related to general student rules under the jurisdiction of SPAA may be directed to the Office of the Associate Dean, Center for Urban and Public Service, first floor.

For master of public administration (M.P.A.) specific program policies, see the M.P.A. Student Handbook at https://spaa.newark.rutgers.edu/academic-policies-procedures-forms.
