A full-time academic load is defined as 9 or more credits. A load of 12 credits or more requires the approval of the master of public administration (M.P.A.) program director or the associate dean for academic and student affairs.
Full-time Ph.D. students with financial support are students of the Graduate School-Newark and must comply with all rules regarding full-time enrollment.
Less than 9 credits per semester is considered part time.
