Nondiscrimination Policy

It is the policy of Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, to make the benefits and services of its educational programs available to students, and to provide equal employment opportunity to all employees and applicants for employment, regardless of race, religion, color, national origin, ancestry, age, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, disability, atypical hereditary cellular or blood trait, marital status, civil union status, domestic partnership status, veteran status, and any other category protected by law. Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972 is a federal law prohibiting discrimination based on sex in education programs and activities that receive federal financial assistance. Title IX covers all programs of a college or school that receives federal financial assistance for academics, extracurricular activities, and athletics. Students with inquiries concerning compliance not associated with intercollegiate athletics should be directed to Donald C.
