Peer-to-Peer File Sharing

Unauthorized distribution of copyrighted material, including unauthorized peer-to-peer file sharing, may subject students to civil and criminal liabilities. The penalties for violation of federal copyright laws may be found at http://www.copyright.gov/title17. Violations of copyright law also violate university policy and may subject students to disciplinary action as outlined in the university's Code of Student Conduct: https://policies.rutgers.edu/10211-currentpdf.
