Student Health Services
-
Rutgers School of Health Professions
provides health services to students on its various campuses through
Student Health Centers. All students who pay tuition directly to Rutgers
SHP in full-time day programs located on the Newark and New
Brunswick/Piscataway campuses are required to pay the health service fee and may
receive services from the campus health centers. Services may differ for
students enrolled in joint programs.
Student
Wellness Program - The Student Wellness Program (SWP) is a free and confidential
counseling service which helps students deal effectively with stressors
and pressures related to school, as well as personal problems that may
affect their well-being, their home lives, and/or their academic
performance.
Personal Insurance Referral assistance is available to
students not enrolled in on-campus matriculation or distance/hybrid
students residing outside of New Jersey.
