Alumni of Rutgers Business School: Graduate Programs-Newark and New Brunswick (RBS) may enroll on campus on a nonmatriculated basis. Students in good standing at other institutions in the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business International (AACSB) may be granted permission to enroll in RBS courses in order to meet, in part, the M.B.A degree requirement at their institutions. Students holding an M.B.A degree from AACSB-accredited programs may enroll in the post-M.B.A certificate program.
Students who wish to enroll in graduate or 100- through 400-level undergraduate courses and perform all the assigned work except the final exam without receiving credit may do so if they secure the advance approval of their advisers. When they register, they must indicate "not-for-credit" status by entering the symbol N. They must pay the normal graduate tuition fee for the course and fulfill the same requirements as other students during the semester, including doing all written assignments. At the end of the semester, however, they do not take the final examination, and they are assigned a grade of S (satisfactory) or U (unsatisfactory). The course and the letter grade are included on the student's record, but no credit toward a degree is given.
